SmartParts digital picture frame DOESN"T WORK

   4 hours wasted, and I know computers well.  Don't buy one

What a waste of time and money.  I bought one of these, and loaded 3 AVI videos onto it, and it doesn't work.  I troubleshot it, and couldn't figure it out, so I called them.

Some woman who couldn't care less called back and said that it only works with certain kinds of AVI files, which the cover and the manual don't tell you.

She said, "Well, you can take it back or get some conversion software."  She didn't know any conversion software, but I could certainly spend my September Friday night wasting hours testing and buying software until I found some that worked.  Clearly, no one there knows anything about it.

SmartParts doesn't make smart parts or products - don't waste your time or money.
